Rates
Fares are calculated on the following basis, standard to all taxis in the Greater Victoria Area. Fares may vary according to traffic, but are regulated by city bylaw.
Price in Canadian Funds
Flag: $3.30
Distance (per km): $1.92 ($0.10 for each 52.04 metres)
Waiting Time (per hour): $41.39 ($0.10 for each 8.70 seconds)
All taxi fares include H.S.T.
Non-Canadian residents can have this refunded at the Border. Contact Canada Customs for details.

Party Vouchers |
Each of our cars has a computer terminal, connected by radio to the dispatch office. When you call, the calltaker puts the call into the computer, and within seconds your taxi is on it's way to your door. |

Is your office having a party? Christmas? Halloween? New Years? Canada Day? Save employees the drive home and give them vouchers for a free cab ride! Contact our office and we can set up a temporary (or permanent) charge account for your company, print up vouchers for the "full fare" or a set amount, and make sure your staff gets home safely. |

You walk to your car, turn the key, and hear that telltale"click-click-click" that tells you you've left your lights on again... Give us a call! We will send a car to you with jumper cables to get you back on the road... far cheaper than a tow-truck! |

Have to be at work at 6am? Catching an early flight? Why not let us make sure you get up in time? If you have ordered a taxi for the morning, we can also phone and wake you up prior to the time your taxi arrives... Just ask! |

Need something to get from somewhere to somewhere else? Don't want to pay the high price of a courier? Call us! We will pick up from anywhere, and deliver it where you like, on the meter ($9.00 minimum charge, but only if we have to "shop" for it; simple A to B deliveries have no minimum charge). |

Need a taxi for a specific time? With our computerized dispatching system, you can call for your taxi up to 11 months (!) in advance, and the computer never forgets! The trip is even sent to the taxi a few minutes in advance, just to make sure it's there on time! We can even set them up to repeat (daily/weekly) automatically! |

Have a lot of luggage to take to the airport? Last minute moving to do? Call for a Van Job! We have up to 8 Vans at your beck and call! Load em up! Our drivers are specially trained in accessibility issues, wheelchair handling, etc. |

Commute between Vancouver and Victoria regularly? BlueBird Cabs in Victoria and Black Top/Yellow Cabs in Vancouver, accept each other's charge cards. |

Victoria Transit has a special setup for people who are unable to take the Bus due to physical limitations, but that don't need the special care of HandyDart, called TaxiSavers. Once you have set up an account with them, they will sell you $80.00 worth of Taxi coupons for $40.00. You can then use these anytime you like in a BlueBird Cab... Once you give us your phone number, all you need to do when you call (from home) is tell it to us. Once it is on file, your name will pop up on our screen, with all the special trip details that you set up when you told us your phone number (such as Basement Suite, Back Door, etc). Then all you need to do is call us, and say "My Phone Number is..." and your cab will be at your door a.s.a.p. |

If you have lost an item in our cab, please call 250-382-3611 and have the following information ready or email us at bluebirdcabs@shaw.ca with the information.
